Here, you'll find access to free child care management system subscriptions to help you organize operations, convenient telehealth options for you and your staff, and valuable technology donations, including tablets and other digital tools. Technology Donations: Free Tablets for Permitted FCC Providers

To help you run your business more efficiently, the Texas FCCN is distributing free tablets to permitted Family Child Care providers across Texas. These tools are designed to support digital record-keeping, parent communication, and participation in CCMS platforms like Brightwheel and Playground.

What’s Included:

  • A high-quality Android tablet (10” screen, 64GB storage)

  • Pre-installed essential apps (CCMS, email, video conferencing)

  • Protective case

  • Up to 3 hours of free technical support to help you get set up and confidently use your device

Who’s Eligible?

  • You must hold a valid permit or registration

  • Be registered with FCCN

  • Demonstrate a clear need for technology to support your business

We’re distributing 50 tablets in total — don’t wait! Applications will remain open until all tablets have been distributed.

How It Works:

Child Care Management System (CCMS) Subscriptions

The Texas FCCN is offering 500 free, one-year subscriptions to leading child care management systems—Brightwheel and Playground—for eligible, permitted family child care providers in Texas. These tools help streamline business operations with features like attendance tracking, parent communication, billing, and developmental assessments.

Each selected provider will receive full access to their chosen platform, along with up to 3 hours of personalized setup and support.

This initiative is designed to save providers time, reduce paperwork, and improve family engagement, so you can focus more on the children in your care.

Telehealth Services

As part of the Texas FCCN, eligible Family Child Care providers can opt in to a fully paid one-year membership with AllyHealth, unlocking 24/7 access to virtual care—anytime, anywhere. This includes virtual urgent care, primary care, talk therapy, psychiatry, and wellness coaching, all with a $0 copay.

Once approved, your telehealth services will begin on the first day of the following month. Through AllyHealth’s easy-to-use mobile app, you can schedule appointments, save benefit cards, get prescription discounts, and access health tools that save you both time and money. Whether you need to talk to a doctor at midnight or find mental health support from home, AllyHealth makes it simple.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

Through the Texas FCCN, eligible Family Child Care providers and their family members can access Shine Early Learning’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP) at no cost for one year. This confidential service offers 24/7 support for emotional well-being, legal and financial matters, and everyday challenges.

Services include consultations with licensed clinicians, referrals for child or elder care, legal guidance with discounted services, financial planning, and access to GuidanceResources® Online—a digital platform with articles, videos, and self-help tools. The EAP is here to support your household’s well-being, so you can focus on caring for children and running your program.
